Try it out.
Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does you car haveremote keys?
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone. If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, callsomeone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have theperson at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobilephone on their end. Your car will unlock.
Saves someone from having todrive your keys to you. Distance is no object.
You could be hundreds ofmiles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" foryour car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our carover a cell phone!"
Hidden Battery power
Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger. Nokiainstrument comes with a reserve battery.
To activate, press thekeys*3370#* Your cell will restart with this reserve and theinstrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.
How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:-
* # 0 6 #
15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset.
Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.
You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.
Please spread this useful information around.
Do not Turn ON your Handphone when raining
Turn off your handphone when it rains. Please be cautioned! I'm sending this forwarding a message on the danger of using your handphone or on the handphone during rain. This is a serious message. Try not to use your hand-phone when it is Raining and there is lightning especially when you are out in an open area. My colleague just died from a lightning strike today. He was with his other colleague and he was using his handphone while it was raining. He suddenly dropped down and his handphone was badly burned but they found no traces of burn mark on his body. His colleague who was just beside him did not feel anything. Researches confirmed that lightning can travel via the waves that the hand phone Signal is travelling.

Easy way to unlock your car (If you have the right equipment, etc.)
Hi, All You Forgetful People and there are a lot of us.
This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by that remote button
on your key ring. Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare
keys are home, and you don't have "OnStar," here's your answer to the problem!
If some one has access to the spare remote at your home, call them on your cell phone (or borrow one from someone if the cell phone is locked in the car too!)
Hold your (or anyone's) cell phone about a foot from your car door
and have the other person at your home press the unlock button,
holding it near the phone.
Your car will unlock. I tried it and it works.

You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk, or have the "horn" signal go off, or whatever!)
